Pine Shores does two exhibitions with independent judges each year. Art Harvest is coming up this week and I have entered The Glider in to be judged. It is already proving to be quite popular as a giclee on paper so I have my fingers crossed that the judge finds artistic merit there as well.

There is something exciting about putting yourself out there to be judged by other artists. It is terrifying and exhilarating at the same time.
It is a pleasant roller coaster. Necessary for one’s growth as an artist.
Judging will be this coming week and I will keep you posted. Competition is always stiff. PSAA has some truly gifted artists, so I never go in expecting to garner any ribbons, but taking part is its own reward. Having said that, I promise I will update you all once the judging is complete and I will try to post the winners to show you just how much talent abides here at the Shore. 🙂
