June is right around the corner, and I am excited and thrilled to have the Zentinels traveling across the state to spend the summer in this amazing venue. The Abbey was built in the 30s. It is a beautiful church, built of stacked local stone and gorgeous Gothic woodwork. The marbles, jasper and other stones in the apse lend a luxurious and solemn feel to the space. The Buddhas will show well in this unique locale and will complement the interesting colorful are by the other participating Studio Yu members, some of whom have come in from as far away as India and Singapore for this exhibition.
If you get out that way this summer, do stop in and see this amazing place and the Studio Yu exhibition. The Abbey offers stained glass tours daily and the grounds are lovely for strolling.
Princeton Abbey is located at 75 Mapleton Road, Princeton, NJ
