Now, I do not have a studio on the island but I am going to be a part of this year’s tour and you can find me at the Long Beach Island Foundation with my trusty tent from 10 AM until 4 PM on Saturday.

I hope to have some new work for this coming weekend and am looking forward to seeing all of you and maybe even doing some painting on site.

Come on out to the foundation. There will also be a photographer and ceramic artist there so you get to visit three studios in one location in Loveladies.

M.T. Burton Studio Opener this weekend!

This is a fantastic art weekend on Long Beach island!   Not only is Beach Haven holding its inaugural Art Walk event but M T Burton Studio is having its annual Summer Opener and I will be there along with a number of other new and returning artists.

I have a LOT of new work for 2018 as well as some of my marine life from last year’s series. They range from 12 by 12″ to 24 by 48″ so there is truly something for every home and budget.

Matt is located right on the boulevard in Surf City.  Just look for the tents on the southbound side at 19th Street. We will be there rain or shine!

Bayhead is calling…and another one makes the cut at Jersey Shore Vacation magazine

I know I just posted my new affiliation with SwellColors in LBI, but in less than a week I have expanded to Bayhead and Zsa Zsa Stackles’ wonderful gallery there.

ReFind is at 43 Mount Street in Bayhead and is a treasure trove of interesting eclectic art. I was truly enchanted by the variety and quality of work there and look forward to showing my new work there.

Since I hadn’t planned on having to stock galleries this year, it means I have had a very busy week at the easel and am still painting!  I am loving the reception this new graphic style is getting and will have a selection of work up there and in place this coming Tuesday, including some of the cocktail series, gulls, and a few things you haven’t yet seen here on the site.

Zsa Zsa also is the driving force behind this June 24th’s Art in the Park in Bayhead. I missed out on this one this year, but plan to be there in 2019. Lots of terrific artists will be there on the 24th so don’t miss out!Image result for refind gallery bayhead

This weekend I will be out on Long Beach Island at Matt Burton’s opener in Surf City on the boulevard. Come on out and catch some brand new work, fresh off the easel! I will be there Saturday and Sunday. Hoping you will come on out and see the great art on hand, plus there will be jugglers, refreshments, and live music.

Finally, a huge shout out to the Jersey Shore Vacation magazine for putting my painting of a gull (his name is Fat Fred) in their summer issue.  They have been very good to me these last few years. It is always a little thrill to open the mailbox and see the magazine and the little “As seen in …” placard with my work on it.  This particular painting will be available at ReFind in the coming week.

NJ Art is alive and well!

You can now find my work at Swell Colors Studio

Swell Colors Glass Studio and Gallery is now carrying my artwork. Mary Tantillo operates this working stained glass studio and offers classes and gorgeous pieces for your windows, doors and objets d’art, in addition to wall art.  I am happy to announce this collaboration and hope you will stop in to see my new work including the “It’s Five O’ Clock Somewhere” series, and the “Wetlands Wonders”.

LBI – M. T. Burton Studio Summer Opener June 9 – 10th in Surf City

First Art Fair down and the next one is right around the corner. I am still painting like mad to have even more new work to show you at the Summer Opener at M T Burton Studio on Long Beach Boulevard in Surf City.

There will be entertainment, refreshments and a lot of great art on hand over the weekend, so if you are in the area be sure to stop in. And, don’t forget to head down to Beach Haven for their first Art Walk.
